An autobiographical how-to, Bronze Cowboy is a monologue-based performance that talks the audience through the 10-step process of bronze casting by using tampons and my body as the means and material for demonstration. A humourous and viscerally bloody piece, this work uses the Older Woman’s body as metaphor for monetized art production.
Performed at:
June 2014: Trasnocheo Cabaret at Encuentro (academic conference and performance festival presented by The Hemispheric Institute of Performance and Politics and Concordia University), Sala Rossa, Montreal
September 2014: Kiss My Cabaret, Sala Rossa, Montreal
