A portrait of a middle-aged white woman in cougar wear that is in strips on the floor

Cougar Portrait Installation

The image in this mural was taken by Pierre Dalpé as part of Cougar For a Year, a yearlong performance in which I wore nothing but animal print to investigate, live, and embrace the stereotype of the cougar (a woman over-40 who aggressively demonstrates her sexuality). This video documents the installation of this image for a group exhibition for Le Prix Powerhouse at La Centrale in Montreal, October 15th to 24th, 2014.

Le Prix Powerhouse is an award presented by La Centrale Galerie Powerhouse that celebrates mid-career women artists who have significantly contributed to the cultural life of Montréal with determination and without compromise.

Thanks friends for the install help:)
