Uterine Concert Hall, Darling Foundry

Uterine Concert Hall was first performed on July 28, 2016 at The Darling Foundry, a repurposed metalworks built in 1880 in Griffintown, Montreal. This was part of Place Publique, The Darling’s outdoor, site-specific programming that brought together artists and the public through performance, installation, dance, and other participation-centred activities. The 2016 edition, Filiation- Performance Series featured a series of performance works throughout the summer by artists based in Quebec.

This first iteration featured experimental and music-based sound input in 30-45 minute separate sets each by artists Nik Forrest and Jackie Gallant.
